Venice Library Artist Residency: Applications Open

Calling all local artists! Applications are now open for the Venice Library Artist Residency, sponsored by the Friends of the Venice Public Library.

This six-month residency (January 1 to June 30, 2027) is open to artists of any medium. The selected artist will create work during five open studios at the Venice Library and host five programs, including adult and youth workshops and lectures.

Anyone 18 or older with a Sarasota County address is welcome to apply. Applications close October 31.
