Venice Yacht Club Board Presents $5,000 Grant to FOVL

On July 10, the board members of the Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation awarded a $5,000 grant to the Friends of Venice Library (FOVL). In this photo, Janet Knudsen, FOVL Board President (holding check), accepted the grant at the Venice Yacht Club. The Friends will use the funds to help sustain the William H. Jervey Venice Public Library’s vital programs, services and resources not covered in the library budget.
